PARTNERSHIP EXPLAINED

The AWSS Partner Program is designed to uphold the quality, integrity and efficiency of AWSS Certification, and provides a credible and practical way for members of Australia’s certified wool supply chain to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, traceability and responsible industry conduct.

AWSS Partners will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, digital-first operation of certification, while supporting the trusted traceability of eBale identification from farm to first-stage processing.

Partnership enables supply chain members to fully leverage the benefits of AWSS Certification, optimised by AWSS’s trusted digital traceability through industry endorsed eBale identification, and allows them to be recognised, featured, and preferred by customers seeking certified, sustainable wool.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to join the AWSS Partner Program, you must:

  • Have a reasonable interest in the AWSS and its objectives.
  • Demonstrate that your organisation’s activities align with the AWSS purpose and ethos.

Partner Type Annual Fee (AUD)
AWEX Member $ 2,500 (excl GST)
Non-AWEX Member $ 4,000 (excl GST)

DECLARATIONS

1.  I am duly authorised to make this declaration.

2.  I/we have read and understood the business rules and requirements of the Australian Wool Sustainability Scheme (AWSS) Partner Program.

3.  If admitted as an AWSS Partner, I/we agree to abide by the current Business Rules and any amendments adopted by the Board of the Australian Wool Exchange Limited from time to time.

4.  I/we acknowledge that AWSS certification applies solely to packed greasy wool delivered to the first-stage processor and does not extend to subsequent processing stages or finished products.

5.  I/we agree to comply with all AWSS Certificate of Compliance (CoC) conditions, accept its limitations, and take responsibility for its proper use.

6.  I/we agree to report any discrepancies or suspected non-compliance to AWSS immediately.

7.  I/we agree to only communicate AWSS Partner status and certification in a factually correct manner, using approved language and will ensure all claims reflect the scheme’s verified scope (farm to first-stage processing).

8.  I/we will inform AWSS of any changes in: a) The registered office, b) The address of the business or c) The nature of the business

9.  The particulars provided in this application are true and correct.

10.  I make this declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of the Oaths Act 1900*.
